The clever invention of the magnetic door seal from ALUMAT has an authentic development background. Harry Frey, the founder of ALUMAT Frey GmbH and designer of the magnetic door seals, has a leg injury as a result of which he tripped over a doorstep and fell. This negative experience inspired him to find a solution to the seemingly insoluble threshold problem with transitions on external doors. : sealing doors with attracting magnetic profiles - a completely new method in this context.
